This large residence with an outbuilding garage is situated on undulating farm land adjacent to the foothills and a lake. The design is inspired by the Prairie House tradition with large overhanging hipped roofs and a balanced asymmetrical composition. The main spaces of the home open up to views of the foothills and mountains to the west. The landscaping is planned for low water usage and hay is still harvested from the land.
